This would be a great time to catch a Perfect Vessels performance.
The Perfect Vessels are playing lots of shows these days. Below is a photo of us (thanks, Renee!) playing at the River Arts Festival last weekend. That building behind us, of course, is the Lorraine Motel, site of the National Civil Rights Museum. (Want to see more pictures of me standing in front of historic sites? Ok! Try this one! And this one!)
We have some exciting shows coming up in the next two weeks. You can catch the Vessels this Friday at Otherlands Coffee Bar in Midtown, where we will be playing with Robby Grant and Brett Ross. The show will start early--if I were a betting man, I'd give you 2 to 1 odds that we'd start playing by 7:30. We might be playing acoustic, and we might be playing electric. You never know with us!
Finally, the show we are most excited about is coming up on November 5, at the Hi-Tone, where we will be opening up for Sebadoh (yes, that Sebadoh). Mazes will also be playing that night. It promises to be a big, sweaty, fun show, and you shouldn't miss it.
Here's my favorite Sebadoh song, "The Ocean." What is yours?
