My (Successful) Visit to William Faulkner's Home

William Faulkner

It took me three visits to Oxford to get inside Rowan Oak, the home of William Faulkner, but I finally made it.

Like Anse Bundren, I know what it is like to wander the wilds of Mississippi, suffering from all sorts of humiliating (though kind of funny) strokes of bad luck.  You can read about my misfortunes here, and Anse's here.  But that is all behind me, for on Saturday, March 12th, I successfully made it into Faulkner's home.

My secret?  Having my wife check the wesbite.

Here are some photos.  Enjoy!
